Honorees

The American West Institute holds an annual event, the AWI Roundup — a chance for scholars of the American West, and their families, to gather, connect, exchange research notes and ideas, and share in a spirit of deep intellectual curiosity about America's past.

Recent Roundups have been held in Flagstaff, Boulder, Waco, Norman, Jackson Hole, and Fargo. Each city has been a terrific host, and we thank the local academic institutions for providing meeting rooms, cafeteria, and restroom facilities.

A highlight of the Roundup is the announcement of the honorees: scholars whose research has been published or presented in an academic journal, regional magazine, conference, or historical society. Congratulations, honorees!
