The American West Institute welcomes correspondence from scholars, prospective fellows, journalists, and members of the public. All inquiries should be directed to admin@americanwestinstitute.com.

A general disclaimer regarding response times: the Institute's staff are frequently occupied with fieldwork, archival travel, or the management of our cattle, and are not, as a rule, seated at a desk. Correspondence is reviewed when circumstances allow, which may be daily, weekly, or, during calving season and extended research expeditions, considerably less often. We ask for your patience and assure you that every message is eventually read, if not promptly.
